What is a Jumbo Stud?

Jumbo Stud is a type of metal stud used in partition walls. It is an essential component for making the stud wall by providing the vertical frame for it. The Jumbo Metal Stud allows for a greater thickness of plasterboard once the metal stud wall has been assembled. This then creates better strength and acoustic performance

Jumbo stud partition walls are interior walls constructed using jumbo studs as the primary structural element. These walls are typically used in commercial or industrial construction where a high degree of structural strength and durability is required.

insualtion is fixed to the underside of the plasterboard allows for

the plasterboards are fitted in a staggered effect allows for the fire
and sound rating to be at its maximum.
